The Atlanta Falcons look strong at TE for 2007
The Falcons are looking strong at TE as they have a good receiver (Alge Crumpler), a good blocker (Dwayne Blakley) and a talented rookie (Martrez Milner) to handle the position in 2007. Alge Crumpler has been Michael Vick’s favorite target in the past and Joey Harrington will likely hook up with him often too.  Crumpler played in 16 games (all starts) last season for the Falcons and he caught 56 passes for 780 yards (13.9 avg) with 8 TD grabs. Look for Crumpler to have numbers like those again in 2007. He has now played in 94 games (83 starts) and he has caught 274 passes for 3,768 yards (13.8 avg) with 30 TD grabs.
Dwayne Blakley is a run blocking TE, period. He played in 16 games (4 starts) last season for the Falcons and he caught 6 passes for 76 yards (12.7 avg) with 0 TDs. He has now played in 47 games (6 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 14 passes for 141 yards (10.1 avg) with 1 TD grab.
Rookie Martrez Milner was a 4th round pick out of the University of Georgia so he should like playing in his backyard in the Pros. He has a lot of talent as an all-around tight end but Coach Petrino might have to ride him all season as he was an underachiever in college.
