The Atlanta Falcons need WR Michael Jenkins to quit being a stiff

Blogged under Need to step up, General, Bloglockers, Front Page by admin on Friday 20 November 2009 at 9:40 pm

Michael Jenkins has not improved one bit since joining the Falcons six years ago.  He just seems to be the latest of the overrated players from Ohio State.  He has played in 9 games this year for the Falcons and he has caught 27 passes for 310 yards (11.5 avg) with 0 TD grabs.  In six years with the Falcons, Jenkins has played in 86 games in which he has caught 212 passes for 2,682 yards (12.7 avg) with 17 TD grabs.  The Falcons need Jenkins to step up or he needs to sit down because he has not been a good WR in the NFL yet in his career.

I agree with you maybe he should bulk up and be a TE

I thought it was just me, Micheal Jenkins drop balls that be right there on the money. I don’t know what they see that I don’t because he’ll be on the bench. Thank God we have White and Gonzalez with those two catching ball well probably be their with the Lions and Browns. The coach need to talk to him or let someone else get his spot cause Jenkins he just out there wasting space.

I think the Falcons ought to see what Weems can do at WR. He’s pretty elusive as a return man so why not give him a shot? I’m not a fan of Jenkins but I’m not sure if making him a TE would work Brian because he doesn’t have the hands for it.
